McFarland Rods Spruce Creek 6'9" #3 
The Spruce Creek is Mike McFarland's longest running design and is smooth, and deep flexing with the perfect balance of power from tip to butt. The blank is burnt orange with transparent whippings with maroon highlights. The stripper is a meldrum low bridge and the the snake guides are Snake Brand ECO. The reel seat is a butt cap and sliding ring with a brass look (nickel aluminium bronze alloy by Tony Young) with a Brown Mallee insert.
I have asked many time for a shorter rod for smaller streams and this rod fits the bill exactly. This rod will fish both dry fly and nymphs to perfection.
